The bookstore is right at the heart of the community and I’ve spent many happy hours there, both in the children’s section with my little girl, Tennessee Skye, and browsing through the adult section – as well as writing in the coffee shop.
When Hugh, my husband, came here for his interview in February 2016, he made it a priority to visit Gibson’s. He immediately spoke to the Gibson’s team about his English wife who was keen to become one of their local authors (should his interview be successful!). It feels like a dream come true that we’re now here, as a family, that our second little girl will be born on the 4th of April and that I am, indeed, a local author.
I extend an open invitation to the Concord community to join me on this special night. I can’t wait to celebrate the birth of my May baby with my new American friends and readers.
